UFBCO Child Development Center was established in 1974 for the purpose of providing comprehensive daytime childcare with the program services to meet the needs of families residing in the upper Harlem and lower Washington Heights communities.
We strive and have been successful in establishing an environment of creativity and educational excellence. We assist each child and their family in meeting the challenges of todayΓ’β¬β’s world and broaden their horizons through varied exposures and experiences.ΓΒ
We provide safe, clean, healthy and child-friendly physical environments. Classrooms are arranged to offer challenging play and problem-solving opportunities at a range of developmental levels. Learning centers allow children the opportunity to explore, to experience and, most importantly, to succeed.
Parents are the most significant adults in a childΓ’β¬β’s life. We stress the importance of home-school communication and the involvement of the entire family. Our doors are open to parents at all times.
