The Enhanced B5 SUNY-CUNY Workforce Scholarship is a grant for individuals seeking early childhood credentials, certificates degrees and or certification in early childhood education at CUNY or SUNY schools across the state.
The CPAC is recognized as the standard for measuring effectiveness in leadership, procedural supervision, and fiscal management for administrators of early childhood and school-aged children's programs. Obtaining the CPAC also serves as a measure of individual professional achievement.
The program provides students not only with the required coursework but also advisement, writing support, portfolio creation, career services, and classroom observation in pursuit of the Child Development Associate Credential. More than 230 students have graduated from the CUNY SPS CDA certificate program since its inception in 2012.
