Huntington- Lloyd Harbor Preschool and Daycare offers both half and full day programs to the children enrolled in our care ages 18months- 5yrs. We are currently looking for an afternoon assistant/ floater.

This position is Monday through Friday from 2:30- 5:30p.m.

General Responsibilities: 

-Assist head teachers with any and all responsibilities.

- Assist children in the bathroom.

- Diaper changes. 

- Maintaining a clean, healthy and organized classroom. 

- Assist with daily general cleaning duties (sweeping, vacuuming, sanitizing, etc).

-Managing the children, parents and assistants within the room. 

-Responsible for creating a warm, caring engaging environment within the room. 

-Responsible for all required daily paperwork.

-Responsible for maintaining all NYS OCFS required trainings and coursework. 

-This position will have meetings, workshops and additional activities that will take place during off hours. Ample notice will be given for all mandatory events.
