The Lead Teacher is responsible for the overall management of the classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for all children.

1. Classroom Management

• Plan, implement, and supervise daily classroom activities and routines
• Maintain a structured, organized, and engaging learning environment
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations

2. Curriculum & Instruction

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with program goals
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs

3. Child Supervision & Safety

• Provide active supervision at all times
• Ensure the safety and well-being of each child
• Identify and report any concerns regarding child development or behavior

4. Staff Leadership

• Supervise and guide assistant teachers and classroom aides
• Delegate responsibilities effectively
• Model professionalism and best practices in early childhood education

5. Family Communication

• Maintain open and professional communication with parents/guardians
• Provide regular updates on children’s progress and daily activities
• Address parent concerns in a timely and respectful manner

6. Assessment & Documentation

• Observe and document children’s development and progress
• Maintain accurate records, attendance, and reports as required
• Participate in parent conferences and meeting

Bachelors degree in Early childhood education 

• Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred Education Level: Master's Degree
