Noor Child Care Services is seeking a dedicated and creative Part-Time Teacher to support the educational and developmental needs of children from 6 months to 12 years old. The teacher will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, leading learning activities, and nurturing children's cognitive, social, and emotional development in a safe and positive environment.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children.
- Lead circle time, story time, STEAM activities, and educational play.
- Support children’s early literacy, math, science, and social skills.
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program.
- Create engaging hands-on learning activities that encourage curiosity and creativity.
- Maintain a structured daily routine including play, learning, and rest periods.
- Collaborate with staff to support children’s developmental milestones.
- Communicate effectively with the director and staff regarding children’s progress and activities.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school-age children.
- Strong ability to plan lessons and educational activities.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented childcare environment.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Background clearance required according to New York childcare regulations.
- Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED
- Preferred Education Level: Some College Credits
