Mount Kisco Child Care Center is a non profit, NAEYC accredited Child Care Center, whose mission is to provide high quality care for every child in the community regardless of a family's ability to pay. We are seeking Full time Assistant teachers and Full-time floaters/substitutes who love children and want to be part of our MKCCC family.
The Substitute/Floater Teacher supports the daily operations of the child care center by assisting in multiple classrooms across a variety of age groups, from infants through school-age children. This role provides coverage during staff absences, breaks, or when additional support is needed. Responsibilities include engaging with children in developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, following classroom routines, and supporting lead teachers with daily tasks. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and comfortable adapting to different classroom settings while upholding center policies and fostering positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

A Full-Time Substitute/Floater Teacher should be flexible, dependable, and comfortable working with children across multiple age groups. This role requires strong classroom management skills, patience, and the ability to quickly adapt to different classroom routines and teaching styles. The ideal candidate is nurturing, attentive to childrenβs needs, and able to support a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment. Strong communication, teamwork, and a willingness to step in wherever needed to support the program are essential.
