Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of curriculum activities and encourage participation by children.
• Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
• Maintain communications with families through informal discussions.
• Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center and vice versa.
• Provide emotional and behavioral support to children by creating a positive environment that supports emotional connections between children and adults and between children and their peers.
• Must have a positive attitude and be flexible to fit the needs of the children and center.
• Follow all center policies and state regulations.
