The lead infant teacher will work closely with a teacher assistant to provide loving, stimulating care to children from 2 months to 18 months of age. Our center strives to be a home away from home for all of the children in our care.
We are looking for energetic, caring individuals to join our team as a lead infant teacher! The lead infant teacher will work closely with a teacher assistant to provide loving, stimulating care to children from 2 months to 18 months of age. Our center strives to be a home away from home for all of the children in our care.
The group infant teacher is responsible for creating a safe, stimulating learning environment for eight children ages six weeks to eighteen months. The group infant teacher will provide activities to foster childrenβs growth in all developmental areas, while abiding by New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) rules and regulations. The group infant teacher will work as a team with the teacher assistant and will report to the director and the owner.
Associate's Degree In Early Childhood Education or a related field AND one year of experience related to caring for infants and toddlers
OR
CDA or other infant and toddler child care credential and two years of experience related to caring for children.
