This role focuses on creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment that supports childrenβs social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while preparing them for kindergarten readiness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and learning activities aligned with early childhood education standards
- Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
- Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being
- Use positive guidance and behavior management strategies
- Observe, assess, and document childrenβs development and progress
- Communicate regularly and professionally with families regarding childrenβs growth and needs
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and center staff
- Ensure compliance with all center policies, health and safety procedures, and state licensing regulations
- Maintain accurate classroom records, attendance, and documentation
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
A successful candidate must possess a CDA Credential or a plan of study to acquire one, or an Associate's Degree in a related field.
- Minimum Education Level: CDA Credential
- Preferred Education Level: Associate's Degree
