For over 30 years, the Baby Signs® Program has empowered families and early childhood professionals to support preverbal infants and toddlers through simple, research-based signs that strengthen communication, reduce frustration, and foster early learning.
Baby Signs® Independent Certified Instructors deliver parent education classes and early learning workshops grounded in the Baby Signs® research-based curriculum. This role is ideal for early childhood educators and professionals seeking to expand their skill set in communication development. Instructors receive full training and materials and set their own teaching schedule.
- Teach Baby Signs® classes and workshops using the approved curriculum.
- Guide parents and caregivers in using signs to support infant–toddler communication.
- Prepare materials and set up engaging class environments.
- Communicate with families, answer questions, and provide ongoing support.
- Promote classes within your community or online (optional, depending on your schedule).
- Interest in working with infants, toddlers, and families
- Comfortable teaching small groups
- Reliable, friendly, and professional
- Ability to follow a structured curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED
- Preferred Education Level: Some College Credits
