NeoVista Daycare is a new company which is excited to provide a high-quality daycare program to the residents of Albany New York and surrounding areas.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Licensed Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Albany, NY. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children can grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting and a strong understanding of early childhood development.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that meet the needs of each child.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and independence.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times.
- Conduct daily routines including meals, toileting/diapering, and naptime with consistency and care.
- Monitor and document each child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and needs.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan events, resolve challenges, and maintain a high-quality program.
- Ensure compliance with all New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) regulations and center policies.
- Must hold a valid New York State Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2) or a related approved license/certification per NYS OCFS guidelines.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with young children and commitment to their developmental success.
- Minimum Education Level: Associate's Degree
- Preferred Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
