Job Description
Infant and Preschool Teacher position
Responsibilities
Â
- Create a classroom environment conducive to optimizing teaching and learning
- Manage classroom administration, data collection and record keeping
- Maintain positive communication with parents
- Interact with students, parents, and colleagues in a professional and positive manner
- weekly lesson plans
Qualifications
- Must meet New York state requirements.
- Associate, Bachelors or Masters in Early Childhood. Working towards NYS Teacher Certification
- At least one-year experience related to caring for children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Commitment to Professional Development.
- Have Mandated Reporter certificate, Infectious Disease training certificate, CPR, and First Aid certification.
- Minimum Education Level: CDA Credential
- Preferred Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
