Our Bridge/Community Resource Center is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher that will:
Â
- Nurture and support the development and learning of children aged 6 weeks to 3 years old through the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Use age-appropriate and positive guidance strategies to teach, encourage, and redirect inappropriate classroom behavior
- Build positive relationships with staff and families through positive and professional communication.
- Create a welcoming classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with the classroom co-teacher and all other program staff.
- Complete all required paperwork including lesson plans. Observation notes, health logs, child assessments, etc.Â
- Create and maintain a safe and healthy environment ensuring adequate supervision and compliance with licensing.

Candidate Qualifications:
Â
- An AAS or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or Infant/Toddler CDA (Child Development Associate)
- Knowledge of Infant/Toddler child development and family interaction
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without the need for Visa Sponsorship
