Description:

Instructors will conduct various activities with students to introduce them to fascinating STEAM subjects. Work collaboratively with other instructors to ensure all students have fun in a safe, learning environment. This is a great position for anyone with a background in education, childcare, art, and/or a STEM background.

Responsibilities:

Lead small groups of students through provided curriculum or develop appropriate STEM curriculum;
Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment;
Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies;
Adequately prepare for each program by reading curriculum, watching training videos and/or participating in face-to-face training sessions;
Participate in periodic training & staff meetings as required

Qualifications:

Experience and/or background in Art, Science, Technology, Math, Engineering, Education, or highly relevant field
Experience with Lego Spike, Mindstorm & WeDo preferred
Experience working with children in a classroom or camp environment
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis

Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED

Preferred Education Level: Some College Credits
