Robyn’s Nest is a group family day care that has been open for 6 years. We strive to enhance relationships with children, families, and staff through nurturing relationships and quality play environments.  We work together to promote children’s development through support and resources for families and staff. We provide staff guidance through practice-based coaching to implement best practices. We strive to provide positive successful social emotional outcomes for all children. 

1. Arrive at their scheduled time to work dressed in casual and comfortable attire and safe shoes.
2. Provides competent and direct supervision by maintaining eye contact, close proximity and being knowledgeable about children's needs.  
3. Interacts with children in a positive and encouraging way, at their level and in close proximity.
4. Build positive relationships with each child and parent as part of your job.  Maintains daily positive and supportive conversations as part of daily communication (infant daily sheets, monthly newsletter, daily drop off/pick up conversations)
5. Follow the rules and expectations for our program:  Be Safe. Be Kind. Be Gentle.
6. Follows NYS OCFS child daycare regulations and confidentiality about families in care.
7. Learns and follows daily health and safety protocols for cleaning, diapering, feeding, and toy sanitation.
8. Playground supervision will be interactive and will remind children of safety rules.
9. Complete 30 hours of training every 2 years covering all required topics.
