The Assistant Center Director  at The Learning Experience serve as an  ambassador of happiness, creating
opportunities every day that reflect our mission to make a difference in the lives of
children, their families, and communities. The serve as a responsible party in the overall management and supervision of the preschool both the Infant/Toddler and Preschool programs.Â
Role Responsibilities:Â
ï‚· Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers; model
behaviors and provide feedback during Teacher Observations.
ï‚· Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing,
and engaging learning environment. Ensuring the school is run according to Article 47.Â
ï‚· Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and
inspire a love of learning
 Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Infants, Toddlers,
and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of
each child.
ï‚· Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
 Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures
and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and
personal discussions.
 Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to
achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
ï‚· Build relationships with families and teachers and other coworkers and create a dynamic learning environment
Qualifications:Â
ï‚· Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education. NYS Teacher Certification.
ï‚· At least 6 years of childcare experience preferred.Â
ï‚· Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
ï‚· CPR and First Aide certification, F07, S95 certification.

- Preferred Education Level: CDA Credential
