Description:
Assist lead teacher to meet and greet families and children
Assist lead teacher to provide high quality early childhood education and care to families and children
Assist lead teacher to develop lesson plansÂ
Assist lead teacher to create daily activities based on lesson plans that align with child’s interests, abilities and needs in a safe nurturing environment
Assist lead teacher to follow a daily schedule
Participate in professional development training

Responsibilities:

Assist teacher to present daily learning activities and materials for children to explore
Encourage positive interaction of children
Maintain a safe healthy nurturing environment
Model and teach positive behaviors and social skills
Encourage child's independence and promote cleanliness such as washing handsÂ
Assist teacher to enforce classroom rules and OCFS state regulations.
Attend professional development trainingÂ
Qualifications:

Enjoy working with children and adultsÂ
Good organization and communication skills
OCFS acceptable fingerprinting, background check and health exam
Required Highschool Graduate or GED
Required At least 18 years old
Preferred College credits
Preferred CDA Credential
Preferred Child Care Experience
