• Mental Demands:Able to communicate (verbal and written) effectively, able to maintain emotional and professional control under stress
• Physical Demands: Able to routinely lift children,move furniture for safety and sustain long hours of active work
• Provide activities and opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration and problem-solving appropriate to the developmental level of the child, facilitate small group  indoor and outdoor activities
• Attend to the personal hygiene and self -help needs  of each child, serve meals and snacks, perform general housekeeping duties( such as cleaning, dish washing,laundry to provide each child with clean dishes and linens for the program,)                          * especially as per CDC guidelines and daily protocol.
• Maintain daily records (i.e.  daily health checks, attendance,daily communication), supervise and monitor all instructional and social activities, ability  to  professionally interact with parents at drop off and pick up time, participate in monthly fire drills and shelter in drills
• Be willing and available to participate  in  continuing education /trainings as assigned.

• Associates degree in Early Childhood Education ( or equivalent)
• Negative TB test results
• Negative COVID Test Results
• Training in SIDS prevention and the recognition and report of child abuse, First Aid/CPR (pediatric)         ***First Aid/CPR and AED trainings must be kept current  and updated regularily
• Criminal Background checks performed every 3 months
