Care-a-lot is looking for caring, professional and dedicated individuals to lead our infant and toddler classrooms. Ideal candidates will have experience working in with children ages 6 weeks-18 months old. Experience with classroom management, supervision and parent communication. Head Teachers work side by side with families to nurture infants and toddlers to grow and develop in a supportive, caring and safe atmosphere. 

Responsibilities:

  • Developing parent relationships and communicating with parents regularly, including classroom orientation and daily reports on children’s activities
  • Maintaining classroom records and keeping necessary written documentation
  • Communicating effectively and directly with other staff
  • Maintaining a positive work climate, teaching our curriculum, and having FUN!

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field, OR Child Development Associate (CDA) or 9 college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field
2 years of experience related to caring for children
Infant/Toddler Child Care Credential

Care-a-lot believes in promoting from within and provides assistance in pursing CDA in Infant and Toddler. Head in training positions will be considered.
