Join an organization which has been providing quality education services through the Head Start and Universal Pre-K models for over 55 years. The Teacher Assistant works closely with classroom teachers to provide a fun, nurturing and healthy environment for young children. Responsibilities include:

  • Assist classroom teacher to plan and implement activities for classroom programs
  • Develop positive relationships with children and families
  • Help with adequate staff coverage for all classrooms and activities onsite 
  • Assist in completing case notes

Starting at $13.20 per hour; Monday-Friday; 

37.5-40 hours per week/44 weeks per year – Head Start

37.5 hours per week/52 weeks per year – Early Head Start

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. At least one (1) year of experience working with children 13 or younger. Bi- or Multi-lingual skills are a plus.
