Job Description

The Family Help Center: Children’s Center for Success is looking for dynamic and energetic Infant and Toddler Teachers to join our team of professionals. The Children’s Center for Success leads in quality care and programming for children through ongoing positive encouragement and daily support of children’s successes. 

Responsibilities
The Teacher must be able to perform the following:
  • Overseeing the direct care and safety in an early childhood classroom with either Early Head Start infants or toddlers 
  • Works together as a team to plan, implement and supervise all center based activities for their classroom
  • Records observations and performs assessments 
  • Creates an environment where children are actively engaged by supporting the children’s development and growth
  • Follows all state day care regulations in the classroom 
  • Implements developmentally appropriate lessons and experiences
  • Shows a willingness to continue their education through training in the Pyramid Model for social-emotional development
  • Promotes the center’s philosophy and educational objectives 
  • Must be willing to work in a multicultural classroom setting
  • Must be or willing to be CPR /First Aid and MAT certified
Qualifications
Preferred Requirements: Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (Birth-2) or (Birth-6) or Early Childhood Special Education (Pre-k-6) or its equivalent; Minimum 1-year lead teaching in an infant or toddler classroom.
Minimum Requirements: Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate; Minimum of 1 year of teaching in an infant or toddler classroom.
