Kids First has been providing high-quality educational support services in Nassau and Suffolk County for 30 years. We are seeking special educators to support our EI and CPSE age children. Create your ow schedule and work as many hours as you like.
Provide direct special educator/SEIT support to children mandated for EI/CPSE services. Be comfortable applying behavioral, educational and academic strategies within a preschool/daycare or UPK setting. Work collaboratively with other professionals and classroom teacher. Strong oral and written communication skills along with a positive demeanor and affect.
Provide direct face to face therapy with assigned children in a variety of educational settings. Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, other professionals and provide timely and appropriate feedback to families. Implement your knowledge of social, emotional and behavioral needs of children into therapy sessions in accordance with IEP mandates. Create activities to meet and measure those goals. Consistent and reliable professionals to represent Kids First.
NYS Certified special education teacher
