Kids First is seeking a qualified and motivated special educator to provide direct therapy with children from birth to 5 years old. Opportunities in our facility as well as preschools, daycares, and UPK's. Candidates must hold NYS certification for Special Education Teacher. Ideal candidate is keenly aware of developmental, social and emotional needs of children, is flexible and fun-loving. Familiarity with IEP/IFSP, data collection and analysis and behavioral interventions a plus.
Provide face to face therapy with assigned children in accordance with IEP mandates and goals, collect relevant data, when necessary, support the general education/classroom teachers and represent Kids First as a professional team member.
