Andrely Daycare LLC is a licensed Group Family Daycare located in the Bronx, New York. We provide a safe, nurturing, organized and engaging environment for infants, preschool children and school-age children. Our program focuses on attentive supervision, age-appropriate learning activities, healthy daily routines and dependable care for every child.
Andrely Daycare LLC is seeking an experienced, dependable Assistant Teacher for our licensed home-based Group Family Daycare in the Bronx. This is a long-term, on-site position for someone who is responsible, patient, organized and comfortable caring for infants, preschool children and school-age children.
The selected employee will receive structured hands-on training with our current staff. After successfully completing training, the employee must be able to independently follow the daycare’s established daily routine, including supervision, meals, activities, hygiene, nap time, cleaning, attendance and safety procedures.
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Consistent attendance, punctuality and availability for the complete schedule are required. This is not a flexible-schedule position.
• Provide active and attentive supervision of infants, preschool children and school-age children at all times
• Follow the daycare’s established daily schedule and safety procedures
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to the daycare menu
• Plan and complete age-appropriate educational activities, playtime and learning routines
• Manage diapering, toileting, handwashing, hygiene and nap routines
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and organized daycare environment throughout the day
• Complete attendance, meal, activity and other required daily records accurately
• Monitor children for illness, injuries or changes in behavior and immediately report concerns
• Follow proper first-aid, emergency and incident-reporting procedures
• Communicate professionally with parents and the daycare owner as trained
• Protect children’s privacy and maintain confidential information
• Follow all daycare policies and applicable New York childcare regulations
- At least one year of experience working in a licensed daycare.
- Experience caring for multiple children across different age groups.
- Availability Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality.
- Current pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain or renew them before assuming independent care duties.
- Willingness to complete required fingerprinting, background checks, training and staff documentation.
- Ability to provide professional childcare references.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to prepare meals, maintain cleanliness and complete daily childcare records.
- Patient, attentive, dependable and comfortable communicating professionally with parents.
- Willingness to follow established daycare procedures and complete hands-on training.
- Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED
- Preferred Education Level: CDA Credential

Paid hands-on training will be provided.
