Duties
- Provide consistent supervision and care for children in different preschool classrooms, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Assist lead teachers with daily activities, including lesson implementation, circle time, arts and crafts, and play-based learning
- Support children with their individual needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively in emergencies
- Help organize classroom materials, prepare supplies for activities, and ensure a clean and organized environment
- Collaborate with staff to promote positive behavior management strategies and inclusive classroom practices
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings
- Familiarity with special education techniques and working with children with disabilities
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and teamwork within the classroom environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings and support various age groups including toddlers and infants
- Classroom management skills to foster a safe, engaging, and respectful learning environment
