The JCC is a non-profit agency serving the Western NY community. We provide high quality services including early care and education, after-school care, camp, state of the art fitness centers and classes, pools, cultural arts, senior adult programs, family programs and more.
Lead teacher for a 4-year-old classroom in a community based organization partnering with the Buffalo Public Schools. Develop relationships with children, families and coworkers within a multi-service agency. Ability to meet NAEYC standards, Quality Stars NY standards, and OCFS regulations. Willingness to learn about Jewish customs and traditions within a diverse population. Ability to work well with community agencies and volunteers.
Implement Buffalo Public Schools UPK curriculum. Keep documentation up to date. Develop healthy, productive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Assist in planning family events for the school. Attend all required professional development. Meet NAEYC standards, Quality Stars NY standards and OCFS regulations.
Early Childhood certification preferred. Experience as a preschool teacher preferred.
