Infinite Scholars is seeking nurturing and dependable Teachers and Assistant Teachers to support classroom instruction, routines, supervision, and childrenβs social-emotional development. Experience working with infants, toddlers and young children is preferred.Β

We are seeking caring, dependable, and enthusiastic. Teachers and Assistant Teachers to join our early childhood team. Candidates will help create a nurturing, safe, literacy-rich environment where young children can learn, explore, and grow.

Responsibilities include:

β’ Provide attentive supervision and maintain a safe, welcoming classroom environment.
β’ Support childrenβs academic, physical, social, and emotional development.
β’ Plan or assist with developmentally appropriate lessons, learning centers, and hands-on activities.
β’ Promote early literacy, language development, creativity, and positive classroom interactions.
β’ Establish consistent classroom routines and use positive behavior-guidance strategies.
β’ Assist children with meals, toileting, hygiene, transitions, rest periods, and other daily routines.
β’ Observe childrenβs development and maintain required classroom records and documentation.
β’ Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and center leadership.
β’ Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom.
β’ High school diploma or GED required.
β’ Lead Teacher applicants must meet applicable NYC Health Code Article 47 Group Teacher education and experience requirements for the age group assigned.
β’ Associateβs degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
β’ CDA credential, relevant college coursework, or NYS teacher certification is a plus.
β’ Previous experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or young children is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
β’ Caring, dependable, patient, professional, and able to work collaboratively.
β’ Effective communication and classroom-management skills.
β’ Willingness to complete required training, staff medical clearance, fingerprinting, comprehensive background checks, and reference verification.
β’ CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain it within the required timeframe.
- Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED
- Preferred Education Level: Associate's Degree

Hourly compensation:
β’ Lead Teachers: $22β$24 per hour
β’ Assistant Teachers: $18β$20 per hour
