The Part-Time Floating Teaching Assistant supports classroom teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Responsibilities include assisting with daily classroom activities, routines, supervision, transitions, meals, cleaning, and age-appropriate learning experiences. The Floating Teaching Assistant may work across classrooms and age groups based on program needs and must be flexible and dependable.

The position requires compliance with all applicable NYS OCFS regulations, center policies, and health and safety procedures. Candidates must successfully complete all required background checks and clearances prior to employment and complete required OCFS/ECETP and center-specific training within designated timeframes. Additional duties may be assigned based on program needs.
