Job qualification
Bachelorβs degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education or related field. Two (2) years of experience in supervision and management. Five (5) yearsβ experience in Early Childhood Special Education services and/or inclusion settings. Experience working with a variety of people from various cultural, socio-economic, educational and experiential backgrounds. Skills in communication, group process, training and development, management and record keeping. Must relate to problems of low-income families and minorities. Knowledge of Individuals with Disability Education Act (IDEA). Knowledge of data analysis and research techniques. Knowledge of Head Start program policies and procedures. Proficiency in written and verbal skills. Strong analytical skills. Effective, supportive organizational skills. Ability to read understand and apply complex regulatory guidance, research in related field etc.
