We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and caring Childcare Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with children, actively participates in daily activities, and is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment. This is a hands-on position that requires constant interaction and engagement with children throughout the day.

- Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
- Assist with daily learning activities, story time, arts and crafts, and educational play.
- Support diapering, potty training, and bathroom routines while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, including walks and park visits.
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks.
- Perform light cleaning and sanitizing to maintain a safe, healthy, and as germ-free an environment as possible.
- Document daily activities, including meals, naps, bathroom usage, and other important updates.
- Use the company tablet to take photos and upload daily reports for parents.
- Follow all daycare policies, schedules, and safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with team members and take initiative when needed.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, lift, and carry children when necessary.
- Comfortable navigating stairs multiple times throughout the day, as the daycare is located on the third floor.
- Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities with children.

- Previous childcare experience preferred; experience with infants, toddlers, preschool-aged, and school-aged children is a plus.
- Must be comfortable changing diapers, assisting with potty training, and helping children with daily hygiene routines.
- Ability to prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks while following food safety guidelines.
- Must communicate professionally, respectfully, and confidently with parents, guardians, and fellow team members.
- Able to remain calm, patient, and positive during challenging or stressful childcare situations.
- Strong understanding of positive guidance techniques and the ability to redirect and speak to children calmly without raising your voice.
- Energetic, engaging, and genuinely enjoys spending time interacting with children.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow established schedules, routines, and safety protocols.
- Willingness to learn daycare procedures and take initiative once trained.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help wherever needed.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced childcare environment.
- Comfortable documenting children's daily activities, including meals, naps, bathroom usage, and developmental updates.
- Ability to use a company tablet to record information and upload photos for parent communication.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and assist children as needed and navigate stairs throughout the day.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and healthy environment for children.
- No personal cell phone use while supervising children, except during designated breaks or emergencies.
- Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED
- Preferred Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED
