The Family Advocte works closely with the Head Start families to provide assistance, informaiton and links between the program, the family and community resources.Β
Within eighteen months of hire, at a minimum, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field. Up-to-date physical and TB test required. Must have exceptional interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and computer skills. Desired qualifications include an Associateβs Degree in Human Services or related field with at least one year of strength-based case management experience.
