The Lead teacher is responsible for providing a nurturing ,stimulating and safe environment for young children in the daycare. This role involves implementing age appropriate curriculum Β fostering social, and emotional development and maintaining open communication with parents and care givers.
- develop and implement lesson plans and activities
- create a structured daily schedule that includes educational, recreational and rest periods.
-incorporate play-based learning activities that encourage creativity, exploration and problem solving
- provide guidance and support to the child
- foster supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and respected
-provide individualized attention and support the child's unique needs
-supervise the children at all times
-establish and maintain open and ongoing communication
-provide regular feeback through verbal communication, written reports and parent teacher conferences
- collaborate with the parents the staff to address concerns or challenges.
- participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

must meet the qualification outlined in the State OCFS Rules and Regulations
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood education, child development or related field
or Associate degree in Early Childhood Β or related field
Minimum of 1-2 years experience in working in a Daycare,pre school or similar setting,
Knowledge of child development principles, education theories and best practices.
CPR First Aid and AED certification or willingness to obtain.
- Minimum Education Level: Associate's Degree
- Preferred Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
