• Support the lead teacher in implementing daily classroom activities and lesson plans
• Supervise and engage children during work and play, snack and lunch, and outdoor time
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Assist children with daily routines including toileting, handwashing, dressing, and meals
• Encourage positive social, emotional, and behavioral development
• Help manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques
• Maintain active supervision and ensure children’s safety at all times
• Communicate professionally with staff and families as needed
• Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and organization throughout the day
• Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations and school policies
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events as requested
• Provide a warm, nurturing, and supportive environment for all children

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience working with young children in a preschool, daycare, camp, or educational setting preferred
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related training is a plus
• Warm, patient, and nurturing attitude with a passion for working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to actively supervise and engage with children throughout the day
• Dependable, professional, and punctual
• Ability to lift, bend, sit on the floor, and participate in classroom activities as needed
• Must meet all state licensing and background check requirements
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire

• Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED
• Preferred Education Level: CDA Credential
