Soccer Shots is a youth soccer program founded by two former professional players in 1997 with the mission to positively impact children’s lives through the game of soccer. Designed for kids ages 2–8, the program goes beyond teaching soccer skills β€” it focuses on character development, confidence building, and fostering a lifelong love for fitness.

Through engaging, age-appropriate sessions led by trained coaches, Soccer Shots emphasizes respect, teamwork, and perseverance, aiming to inspire children both on and off the field. The organization also extends its reach through the Soccer Shots Foundation, which supports underprivileged children by providing access to quality soccer programs and promoting holistic growth.

Soccer Coach (Part-Time)

Soccer Shots – Youth Soccer Program for Ages 2–8

Compensation: $25–$38 per hour

Position Summary

Soccer Shots is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic Part-Time Soccer Coaches to lead sessions at local schools, parks, and community centers. No formal soccer background is requiredβ€”just a passion for working with children and creating fun, engaging experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging, age‑appropriate soccer sessions.
  • Create a fun and supportive environment that builds confidence and teamwork.
  • Teach basic soccer skills along with core character values.
  • Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and partners.
  • Represent Soccer Shots with enthusiasm, punctuality, and professionalism.

Requirements

Β 

  • Energetic, friendly, and positive attitude.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Neat, professional appearance.
  • Experience working with children (preferred but not required).
  • Willingness to learn and follow the Soccer Shots curriculum.
  • Comfortable coaching outdoors at various community locations.

Work Environment

This is an in-person, community-based role. Coaches travel between schools, centers, and parks to run sessions. Remote work is not available.

  • Arrive on time, well-prepared, and equipped for each session.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure safe play at all times.
  • Represent the Soccer Shots brand with professionalism, reliability, and integrity.
Qualifications

Β 

  • Enjoy working with young children and able to manage a small group with confidence.
  • Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable speaking in front of groups.
  • Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Coaching experience, early childhood education experience, or athletic background is a plusβ€”but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED
  • Preferred Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED
