Role Description

This is an on-site part-time role for a Junior Pre-Kindergarten Teacher located in Scarsdale, NY. The Pre-K3 Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing daily lesson plans, teaching and guiding children in a play-based curriculum, and fostering an environment of joy and love. The role includes curriculum development, classroom management, and actively engaging with children and their families to support their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Qualifications

• Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development skills
• Experience in Kindergarten and Early Childhood Education
• Strong Teaching skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment
• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field required
• Understanding of New York State preschool learning standards is required
