Job Description
Little Lollipop Daycare is seeking a warm, dedicated, and experienced Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. We are a licensed early childhood center committed to providing a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young learners.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement lesson plans aligned with DOE standards
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Observe and assess children’s development and progress
- Communicate effectively with families and staff
- Supervise assistant teachers and support team collaboration
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- NYS teaching certification (Birth–Grade 2 or N–6)
- At least 1 year of classroom teaching experience
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Mandarin-speaking preferred but not required
- Minimum Education Level: NYS Teacher Certification
- Preferred Education Level: NYS Teacher Certification
