Job Overview
We are seeking a caring and patient teacher to nurture and guide infants and toddlers (0-2 years old) in a safe, supportive environment. You will provide daily care, engage children in age-appropriate activities, and support their growth and development. Communication with parents and teamwork with staff are key parts of this role.
Responsibilities
Duties
- Ensure Safety: Keep children safe and supervise at all times.
- Provide Care: Feed, diaper, and assist with naps.
- Support Development: Engage children in simple, age-appropriate activities.
- Communicate with Parents: Share basic updates about the child’s day.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the classroom and materials clean and organized
Qualifications
Requirements
- Associate's (AA or AS) degree in early childhood education;Â OR
- Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and a study plan leading to an associate's degree in early childhood education within seven years;
- Minimum Education Level: CDA Credential (with credit-bearing certificate)
- Preferred Education Level: Associate's Degree
