Description:

School Professionals is hiring for Teacher Aides to join their pool of experienced Teacher Aides. We are looking for Teacher Aides who are punctual, have a love for teaching, and have at least 3 months of experience working with children.

School Professionals offers opportunities for day-to-day, multi-day, and multi-month assignments. This offers our Teacher Aides the ability to create their own schedules and get hands-on experience. We service Manhattan and the surrounding five boroughs.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ months of hands-on teaching or similar experience within a daycare or working with students
  • High School Diploma obtained or some college credits
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to new surroundings and situations

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Work during school hours (can be anywhere between 7 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday), at least some days each month.
  • Carry out the professional duties of a classroom teacher
  • Adhere to school policies and School Professionals policies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive classroom environment

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma
  • At least 3 months experience in a teaching, childcare, or analogous position with infants - age 5
  • Able to teach from a variety of backgrounds and skill sets.
  • Able to build rapport with children.
  • Dependable and punctual attendance.
Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED
Preferred Education Level: CDA Credential
