Job Description
As a Child Care Teacher Assistant, you will be working with Lead Teacher.
Responsibilities
As a Child Care Teacher Assistant you will assist with the following:
- supervise children throughout the day
- prepare materials, equipment and classroom for daily activities
- assist children with personal hygiene ie handwashing, toileting, diaper changes
- prepare and serve meals
- clean, sanitize and disinfect areasÂ
- work cooperatively and collaborate with Team, families
Qualifications
- at least 18 years old
- HS Diploma with some college coursework in early childhood. CDA /CDA candidate preferred
- at least 1 year experience working with children ages 0-6 years old including your own or babysitting
- successfully complete a background check and fingerprinting
- able to bend, stand, and lift
- Minimum Education Level: Some College Credits
- Preferred Education Level: CDA Credential (with credit-bearing certificate)
