Description:

Job Duties: 

  • Provide a safe and comfortable setting for children ages 2-2.11.
  • Dependable and flexible.
  • Ability to ensure nurturing and positive interaction between children and their environment.
  • Plan lessons and activities that are age-appropriate to encourage active learning through the physical, social—emotional and cognitive domains. 
  • Active engagement with children as they play, learn and grow.
  • Work collaboratively with others and take initiatives when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum requirement: Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, with 6 months-1 year of experience or
  • CDA w/1 year of experience working in an early childhood setting, Study Plan Teachers will be considered.
  • Must pass Mandated Criminal Background Check.
Minimum Education Level: CDA Credential (with credit-bearing certificate)
Preferred Education Level: Associate's Degree
