Job Description
Job Duties:Â
- Provide a safe and comfortable setting for children ages 2-2.11.
- Dependable and flexible.
- Ability to ensure nurturing and positive interaction between children and their environment.
- Plan lessons and activities that are age-appropriate to encourage active learning through the physical, social—emotional and cognitive domains.Â
- Active engagement with children as they play, learn and grow.
- Work collaboratively with others and take initiatives when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement: Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, with 6 months-1Â year of experience or
- CDA w/1 year of experience working in an early childhood setting, Study Plan Teachers will be considered.
- Must pass Mandated Criminal Background Check.
- Minimum Education Level: CDA Credential (with credit-bearing certificate)
- Preferred Education Level: Associate's Degree
