Board Members

Looking for Members to serve on Community Based Organization  (CBO)

Responsibilities:

  • Know and execute the mission of the board, by-laws
  • Attends monthly meetings (except summer)
  • Maintain confidentiality of Bethany board meetings
  • Participate in establishing and enforcing organizational policies
  • Support and Advise the President as appropriate 
  • Network, strengthen and build capacity through grants, fund raising and advocacy 
  • identify friends and associates who might be prospective board members, member-at-large or donors

Qualifications:

Previous non-profit experience not required, but a plus

A willingness to give back, build and improve the community

Computer Skills/Social Media experience, a plus

Great personality and the inclination to learn
