Creative Sprouts is looking to hire a passionate Pre-Kindergarten teacher for the new school year. Qualified individuals must possess or be working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education, upon interviewing. As a Pre-Kindergarten teacher you will be responsible for creating and implementing lessons that follow our Creative Curriculum, along with our new literacy program. Each lessons will be altered to fit the needs of the individual child and classroom as whole. You will also be responsible for supporting the social/emotional development of all children who enter into your classroom.

As a Pre-Kindergarten teacher, you will be working towards preparing 16 children to enter into Kindergarten the following year. You will be responsible for completing assessments, holding parent/teacher conferences, and advocating for all children. You will be required to complete daily health checks of each child, serve snacks & lunches (provided by school), and create a safe and welcoming environment for all children and families.

We are looking for individuals who possess the following characteristics/qualities: empathy, motivation, passion for teaching, and have great communication and classroom management skills.

Compensation will be competitive and determined based on experience/education.

Qualifications:

Requirements for this position: Associates/Bachelors degree in Early Childhood or Childhood Education ( Child Development Associate, also known as a CDA, will also be considered) 2+ years of experience working in a Pre-Kindergarten classroom setting.
