• Deliver effective, high-quality Developmentally Appropriate instruction to children 3-5 years old. 
• Create and foster a positive learning environment.
• Implement differentiated instruction to address each learners need.
• Monitor and assess student’s individualized progress, complete mandated assessments and participate in IEP team meetings. 
• Establish and maintain strong communication lines with all parents and colleagues both verbally and in writing.
• Work effectively with colleagues as a team member in planning and implementing appropriate meaningful lessons. 
• Be available for open houses, parent-teacher conferences, and other agency events.
• Serve on school committees as needed.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
• Maintain a neat, clean classroom environment and a professional personal appearance.

• New York State Certification in Early Childhood (B-2) or Elementary Education (Pre-K, K-6)
• At least 1 year TEACHING experience with ages 2-5.
• English/Spanish helpful.
• A thorough Criminal Background Check & Drug Screening will be conducted.

• Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
