This is a part-time/on-call position
Are you looking for a part-time job opportunity? If so, join CEO’s (Commission on Economic Opportunity) team of Substitute Teacher Assistants. Our substitutes provide long term and/or short term coverage in our Infant, Toddler and Preschool classrooms. Classroom hours vary by site however, they are typically open Monday through Friday, 8am-2pm.
More specifically our Substitute Teacher Assistants:
- Work on an on-call basis
- Provide classroom coverage at various CEO centers and collaborative Elementary Schools
- Assist staff with classroom management, activities and daily tasks, as needed
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with young children
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Please note: applicants for this position will be required to complete standard background clearances, which include fingerprints, New York State Child Abuse clearances, a physical and TB test.
