A Child’s Place at Unity House of Troy has a rare opportunity for a Social Worker to join our hard working staff.

  • Provides social work services to families to facilitate the student’s progress towards individual goals.
  • Provides individual counseling to students as directed by their I.E.P.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in communication, both written and verbal.
  • You will develop and maintain relationships with community partners to assist families in need. 
  • You must be able to work independently as well as a part of a team.

 Requirements: : Master’s degree from an accredited school of Social Work. Must have and maintain valid LMSW or LCSW New York State licensure.  

Experience: 2 to 4 years related experience preferably working with low income families and young children with special needs. Must have reliable transportation and a valid New York State Driver License with an acceptable driving record as determined by our company's liability insurance policy.
