Salary/Wage: $80,000 - $82,000 a year (compensation based on education, college credits, and teaching experience)

Description:

The Education Director is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs and curriculum.

Training of teaching and other staff, and supervision of teaching staff.

Ensure compliance with Department of Education standards and Health Department regulations.

Education Directors overseeing 3-K and Pre-K must have all of the following credentials:

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field of study.
Teaching license or certificate valid for services in early childhood or childhood grades pursuant to New York State Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) regulations; and
At least two years of lead teacher experience in a program for children less than six years of age.

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education Level: Master's Degree
