- Develop a thoughtful and creative curriculum suitable for all children.
- Utilize a variety of educational techniques (such as storytelling, educational play, and media) to enhance children's learning.
- Observe each child to help improve their social skills and build self-esteem.
- Encourage children to interact with one another.
- Guide children in developing their artistic and practical skills through a structured curriculum (e.g., identifying shapes, numbers, or colors, and engaging in crafts / STEM).
- Organize and supervise children to ensure their safety at all times.
- Monitor children's progress and communicate findings to parents.
- Collaborate with other educators.
- Keep the classroom clean and organized in accordance with health and safety standards.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma
- CDA certification in Infant & Toddler or Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education, or a minimum of 15 credit hours in Early Childhood Education.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of working experience in childcare, including at least 1 year in a lead teacher role.
