Candidates should be able to use their expertise in preschool/elementary education to confidently lead a classroom on campus. In all contexts, teachers at ISB are expected to work collaboratively in lesson planning to implement a strong and engaging play-based curriculum. Candidates should hold a degree in Education and have at least two years of head teaching experience in a Pre/Lower School setting.
Duties include teaching reading, writing, social studies, science, and math in Spanish and providing social-emotional support. Applicants should also have experience teaching full classes in Spanish and be native Spanish speakers. Knowledge of PYP and experience is a plus.

Candidates should enjoy creating learning experiences designed to nurture the development of the whole child in a strong collaborative work environment. Ideal candidates will enjoy using a wide array of resources to build rich learning experiences while integrating multiple approaches to ensure differentiation. Experience working with preschool/elementary aged children with an ability to display effective classroom management is important in this role.

Salary Range: minimum $64,442 to maximum $106,337 (based on teaching experience and faculty scale year 1 – 30+).
