Salary/Wage: $17 - $18 an hour (Wage is based on Experience)

Description:

Sterling Place Daycare is seeking an experienced individual that loves children, is creative and fun with great communication skills, can multi-task, is patient, flexible, and energetic atmosphere in the class. This position is scheduled Monday-Friday. The individual must have some daycare experience.

Responsibilities:

-Assisting the teacher in curriculum planning ,observations and child reports

-Assisting with distributions of meals

-Planning indoor and outdoor activities

-Supporting with supervising children indoors and outdoors

-Supporting with changing diapers, potty training and cleaning up after the children

-Maintaining the daycare, clean safe and organized

-Reliable and Punctual

-Follow Health and Safety Protocols

-Attend Trainings, meetings and school events

-Work cooperatively with team, families and affiliates

-Must be able to adjust work schedule as needed by the program

Qualifications:

Must Have infant and toddler experience!!!!!

-High School Diploma or Equivalent, Associates degree in Early Childhood or CDA preferred or working towards it

-Must be at least 21 years of age

- 2 Years or more experience with infant and toddlers

-Must have a recent physical examination ( Last 6 months)

-Will be required to go through a background check, fingerprints, submit three reliable references ( No Family Members)

- Health and safety training, CPR/First Aid, ACES Training as well as Mandated Reporter is required the first 30 days of employment

-Good interpersonal communication and written skills

- Computer Literate

-Spanish Speaker a plus

-Positive Demeanor

Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED

Preferred Education Level: Some College Credits
