Our Lansingburgh Family Resource Center is seeking a Head Start Teacher that will:
- Promote children’s development and learning through the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Use age-appropriate and positive guidance strategies to teach, encourage, and redirect inappropriate classroom behavior
- Build positive relationships with staff and families through positive and professional communication, creating a welcoming environment, respecting diversity, and encouraging parent participation in the center
Candidate Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Full Time-35 Hour Work Week Monday-Friday 730am-3pm (10 Month Position)
- Previous experience working with young children
- Currently possess or the commitment to obtain a CDA credential within the agreed upon time
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without VISA sponsorship
